Hi Cat. On behalf of the Boxcar Park Kitefliers, I wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude for giving us the opportunity to fly kites at the Everett Marina this last Friday.
While the winds were not as strong as we had hoped for, I am thrilled to report that everyone who attended had a fantastic time. Your willingness to grant us access to the park allowed us to spend a memorable day enjoying our shared passion for kite flying, and it was truly appreciated.
I also wanted to highlight the responsible and considerate behavior of our group during our visit. As the volunteer line watcher, I can proudly say that there were no incidents involving power lines. Everyone adhered to the rules and regulations governing the park, including staying within the allowed time window. Additionally, parking rules were diligently followed, and we ensured that pathway access remained unobstructed throughout our visit.
Before leaving the park, I made it a point to check that everyone had picked up their belongings and that no garbage had been forgotten. I'm pleased to inform you that we left the area in the same pristine condition in which we found it.
Once again, we cannot thank you enough for your generosity and support. It was a special day that will be cherished by our group for a long time to come. We are already looking forward to flying our kites there again in May.
With warm regards,
Jill Lystad
